- Originally from Lindsay, OK, I've moved with my oil-field hubby eight times in 27 years! My family consists of my son at Texas A & M, my son in high school, my cat and my 50 lb springer spaniel who thinks she's a lapdog. I love Bible Studies, OU football, going to the lake, working in the garden, going to the mountains & the Caribbean! St. John, VI is my favorite place ever!

we had a good talk w/ the boys last night. funny how kids pick up on stuff. they were all bummed at mccain losing. we had a great conversation about praying for and supporting our president no matter who it is. and ultimately who we know is the one in control. sweet ms. beth said it all so well...unity!
Really well put. As much as a "funk" as I've been in today, I have focused my thoughts on the One who is in control, sovereign and un-changing.
